Recently, various countries have been banning popular video app Tik Tok. Tik Tok has been banned in Pakistan also.
Pakistani court has ordered a ban on Tik Tok, according to international media reports. Court has ordered a ban on Tik Tok, saying it contains videos of pornographic material.
Pakistan's High Court Chief Justice Kaiser Rashid Khan on Thursday issued the order in a case involving Tik Tok. Khan said some of the videos posted on Tik Tok were "unacceptable to Pakistani society".
Court has ordered Internet service providers to suspend the service until Tik Tok makes arrangements to control such videos on its platform.
Telecommunications Authority of Pakistan (PTA) has said it will abide by court's order. Tik Tok said he would challenge court's order and apply for a review. This is the second time in six months that Tik Tok have been banned in Pakistan.
