Narayangarh-Muglin road to be closed from this afternoon

Narayangarh-Muglin road section will be closed for a week in the afternoon to complete the rest of landslide prevention work. Road will be closed for one week in the afternoon from today till March 13.

Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project has issued a notice stating that the road is being closed to complete remaining landslide prevention works in Charkilo under the road section.

Project engineer Savina Ranabhat informed that two-way traffic will be closed on the road section from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Ranabhat said all vehicles would be stopped except for essential services.

Ranabhat informed that work will be done in landslide affected area in the first week of last July. Project has stated that 85 percent landslide prevention work has been completed in the road section.

During that period, vehicles coming from Narayandha side will be stopped at Jalbire and vehicles coming from Muglin side will be stopped at Shanti Bazaar.

Narayangarh-Muglin Road Project has also requested to use alternative roads during the period. Those who are not allowed to use alternative road are asked to be patient and follow the discipline of traffic police and staff.
