Departmental team Nepal Police Club has entered the final of Kathmandu Mayors Cup One-Day Men's Cricket Tournament in the capital.
Police reached the final by defeating Kathmandu Mayor-11 by 103 runs in their last league match on Wednesday. Batting in reply to 198-run target set by the police at TU Cricket Ground, Kathmandu were bowled out for 94 in 31 overs.
Police, who had earlier lost the toss and opted to bat first, were bowled out for 197 in 47 overs. This is the third victory of police in the competition.
With this victory, police reached final by adding 6 points in 4 games. Police is also at the top of the table. Police had defeated Bagmati Pradesh in the first match.
