At least 12 people have been killed in Myanmar by security forces. Security personnel shot dead 12 civilians, including a 13-year-old boy, at a tribute rally on Saturday.
Security forces opened fire on a civilian attending funeral of a student who was shot dead by a military ruler. Civilian was killed in Mandalay, Myanmar's second-largest city, and in Pyongyang, according to Reuters.
Tributes were held in various cities of Myanmar on the death anniversary of young man who died a few weeks ago. Many have been injured in the shooting.
According to eyewitnesses, injured have been taken to the hospital but security forces have stopped them from identifying them.
More than 70 civilians have been killed since security forces opened fire on the army on February 1. Top leaders, including Democrat leader Aung San Suu Kyi, have been detained.
