At least six people have been killed when more than 100 vehicles collided in the US state of Texas. It is said that accident may have taken place as the road was slippery due to snow.
Dozens of people were trapped inside their vehicles in crash, which occurred around 6 a.m. local time. Of the 36 people injured in crash, three are in critical condition, according to the New York Times.
According to fire department, 18 wheels and cars were involved in the accident. A video broadcast by local media shows one vehicle colliding with another.
Truck was used to retrieve the wrecked vehicle and a search is underway to find out if there are drivers and passengers in each vehicle.
