Lockdown in Germany has been extended to March 7. Decision was taken on Wednesday. There is still a lockdown in Germany and it has been decided to extend lockdown period till March 7.
According to report, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and 16 federal leaders agreed on the issue on Wednesday. Following their agreement, the German government has announced that it will extend the current lockdown in Germany until March 7.
In almost all parts of Germany, lockdown was lifted with some restrictions. Lockdown period was earlier extended to February 14. It is said that four days before the expiration of that period, German government decided to extend the period of lockdown.
In Germany, not only in the whole country, but also in part. Lockdown had started from the first week of November last year.
This situation is still going on. Although incidence of covid has decreased in some places, it has not decreased significantly. A new strain of corona virus has also been found here. That is why government has decided to continue lockdown here.
