Former Ecuadorian President Gustavo Noboa has died at the age of 83.
Noboa died of a sudden heart attack on Tuesday, said officials. Noboa had a heart attack on February 9. Noboa was taken to the United States for further treatment after suffering a heart attack. However, hospital said that he died while undergoing treatment.
President Noboa was treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. President’s Noboa relatives and well-wishers have expressed grief over the failure of her treatment.
Ecuador's President Lenin Moreno has paid tribute to her via social media Twitter. Expressing grief and respect over the demise of former president Noboa, he informed that a national mourning will be declared.
Ecuador's President Lenin also remembers Noboa as his most respected, unforgettable and good man. President Moreno said he had lost a great friend and a good guardian to the country because of Noboa's death.
