China has banned BBC World News from broadcasting in the country. China's broadcasting body announced on Thursday that it had banned BBC from broadcasting.
China has accused BBC of serious violations of Chinese broadcasting laws. China accused BBC's news of China of being untrue and unfair and of trying to harm China's national interests.
China has previously criticized BBC's report on the control of corona virus and persecution of China's ethnic minority, Uighurs.
BBC has lamented China's move, claiming that it was reporting truth and impartiality around the world.
