As US President Donald Trump's term draws to a close, he has attempted coup and violent attempts to take control of Capitol by attacking parliament building and lawsuit has been filed against Trump for plotting a coup.
Impeachment motion against Trump is expected to be put to a vote in the lower house of parliament, House of Representatives, by Tuesday.
White House has said that such move would only "help to further divide our great nation." Even if the proposal is brought, it will take time to be passed by the upper house of parliament, Senate.
If the process goes ahead, Trump will become the first president in US history to face impeachment twice.
For that to be possible, impeachment charge must be brought to the lower parliament and passed.Earlier, the lower house had passed an impeachment motion against Trump.
