His Holiness Khenchen Lama Rinpoche was LIVE on Facebook on, 30th January 2021, Saturday at 1:45PM Nepali time. This auspicious day coincides with the 2nd Anniversary of the Parinirvana of Urgen Drolma Lama, Khenchen Rinpoche's mother.
Urgen Drolma was born in the Tibetan calendar in the Tibetan Fire Dog year i.e. 20 Nov 1941 in the western calendar. Her father was Getse Gayltho. Her mother was Yazha Zhebho. She had an auspicious birth.
Rinpoche bestows blessings and oral transmission of Amitabha and Amitayus mantra and the sadhana practice of the “The Swift Path to Great Bliss : A Sādhana of Amitābha, Buddha of Limitless Light ''. This is a terma text and it was revealed by Tertön Sogyal.
Participants could do a short practice of the Sādhana of Amitābha, Buddha of Limitless Light and recite the mantras of Amitabha and Amitayus Together with Rinpoche.
The benefits of reciting this mantra uniting Amitabha and Amitayus mantras is considered to be wondrous and limitless. Rinpoche explained these benefits in this LIVE session. The text is available for download at Lotsawa House website. The LIVE session took approximately 45 minute.
