Sanjay Neupane, who was shot by police in Bardibas of Mahottari district yesterday, has died. Neupane, 42, of Bardibas Municipality-1, died at Grande Hospital while undergoing treatment.
Neupane was shot below the waist. Neupane was brought to Kathmandu by helicopter for treatment on Tuesday. Police opened fire on a protest by locals against the murder of 6-year-old Gulbasa Khatun.
Another injured person was brought to Kathmandu for treatment.
