New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern sworn in for a second term on Friday

Earlier, Prime Minister Ardern began her second term in office with a landslide victory in the New Zealand general election.

Ministers were also sworn in English and Maori at Government House in Wellington on Friday. New 20-member cabinet, formed by ordinance, includes representatives of many women and Maori community.

Arden, 40, was praised around the world for her work on corona virus epidemic. That is why she won the election on October 17 with a majority. Arden party gained about 65 seats in 120-member parliament.

Trying to control corona virus epidemic and improve economy affected by epidemic, is the main agenda for her, said Arden.
