New York schools closed

Death toll from Covid-19 in the United States is more than 250,000.

With the resurgence of Covid-19 infection, schools in the US city of New York are closing and other measures are being taken to control the infection.

There have been anti-market protests in Europe against European countries' plans to take various measures to control Covid-19 in Europe.

As of Thursday, 250,426 people had died of Covid-19 infection in the United States, and another 157,950 had been infected on Wednesday, according to Johns Hawkins University.

U.S. states and cities have said they will put in place old and new control measures when COVID 19 infection rate is out of control.

According to New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, about 1,800 schools in the city have been closed since the number of Covid-19 infections began to rise again. Those schools have been bringing distance education into practice since Thursday.

"We have to fight the second wave of Covid-19," said Mayor Blasio.

Americans, optimistic that vaccine developed by the US pharmaceutical company Pfizer has a positive effect on 94 percent of patients, have become more skeptical of the policy to close schools in New York City, the most populous city in the United States.
