Indian Army Chief returns India

Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukunda Narwane, who arrived in Nepal on a three-day visit at the formal invitation of Chief of Army Staff Purnachandra Thapa, returned India on Friday.

Army Chief Narwane returned home on Friday afternoon. During his visit to Nepal, General Narwane was conferred the honorary title of Maharathi by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. General Narwane is 18th Chief of Army Staff to receive the honorary title from Nepal.

Similarly, Army Chief Narwane handed over medical supplies to Nepal Army as per the agreement reached at 13th meeting on security cooperation exchange between two countries. While in Nepal, Narwane had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday.
