British PM announces mass Covid-19 trial

 

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has announced plans for a mass trial of corona virus.

Prime Minister announced on Monday that a general test would be conducted in areas where coronavirus infections appear to be widespread.

British PM added that test was being expanded with the help of army under government's 'Covered Winter Plan'.

Announcement was made by Prime Minister Johnson following a comprehensive trial this month in Liverpool, which has a high incidence of corona infections, and success of reducing the spread of corona virus.

In the northwestern part of the country, government plans to test everyone who comes in contact with corona on a daily basis and immediately send confirmed person to quarantine, said British PM.

National Health Service (NHS) plans to make the campaign nationwide if the campaign and experiment is successful and effective. Such a campaign is said to be held nationwide from January.

Similarly, government has also set new standards for caring for homeless, said officials.
