Twenty-one people were sentenced to death in Iraq on Monday. They were hanged for being linked to terrorism. They were hanged in Iraq's infamous Nasiriyah prison. It is rare in any country for so many people to be hanged at once.
All of these people were accused of joining terrorists. They were hanged under 2005 Terrorism Act.
