The second day of Bada Dashain is celebrated on Sunday with the worship of Bramhacharini Bhagwati.
On the second day under Bada Dashain, Bramhacharini Bhagwati is worshiped in the form of Goddess Durga. There is a tradition of worshiping the nine forms of Nava Durga along with Ghatsthapana.
On the first day of Navratri, Shailaputri is worshiped on the first day, Brahmacharini on the second day, Chandraghanta on the third day, Kushmanda on the fourth day, Skandamata on the fifth day, Katyayani on the sixth day, Kalratri on the seventh day, Mahagauri on the eighth day and Siddhidatri on the ninth day.
In previous years, devotees used to visit temples and Shakti Peeths in Navdurga, but this year, due to the risk of corona virus infection, government has decided not to open temples to the public.
In the past, Shakti Peeths of Goddess Durga, including Guheshwari, Maitidevi, Dakshinkali, Kalikasthan, Shobhabhagwati, Talejubhavani, Vijeshwari, Naxal Bhagwati, Bhadrakali and Indrayani, used to attract a lot of visitors.
It is believed that the worship of these goddesses, who practice asceticism, increases asceticism, renunciation, asceticism, virtue and restraint in human beings.
