Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that government will treat corona infected patients if they cannot afford treatment and hospital cannot afford treatment. This was stated by Prime Minister Oli while addressing the nation through video message on Friday. Prime Minister Oli said that government has an unconditional responsibility to protect the livelihood of people in any calamity.
Government will also make reasonable arrangements for testing and treatment for corona virus. Pointing to the government's criticism of corona infection, Prime Minister Oli said rumors would disappear with time. Prime Minister Oli spoke in support of the US Alliance for Democracy, but said that maintaining some independence was not the answer. Prime Minister Oli assured that government would not back down from its responsibility.
Earlier, spokesperson of Ministry of Health, Jageshwor Gautam, had said in a regular press conference on October 18 that the government would not treat the patients of Corona from now on. Prime Minister Oli also urged people to celebrate this year Dashain with more caution and social distance than last year.
