Government has decided to allow all types of passenger vehicles to operate at full capacity with passengers and administration office has been monitoring the compliance of health standards.
On Tuesday, a monitoring team from District Administration Office, Kathmandu monitored the passengers and drivers of public transport in the area including Koteshwor Gaushala in Kathmandu.
During the monitoring, those who used public transport without Mask were also fined Rs 100. Similarly, action has been taken against the vehicles charging more than the prescribed fare from the passengers, said Bishnu Raj Belwase, Administrative Officer at District Administration Office, Kathmandu.
Belwase said that information about the condition of passengers and the fare was taken at the bus counter in Koteshwor during the monitoring.
Administration office has stated that continuous monitoring will be carried out to make the livelihood of people easier in the event of fraud and corona epidemic in festive time.
