Inauguration of Mess Building and Software of Metropolitan Traffic Police

 

Chief of Metropolitan Police Office, Kathmandu, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bishwaraj Pokharel, has said that Nepal Police cannot shirk its responsibilities in any situation.

Inaugurating the mess building and software of Metropolitan Traffic Police in Kathmandu on Sunday, Deputy Inspector General Pokharel said that the police, which has the important responsibility of ensuring the safety of the citizens, could not shirk its responsibilities under any circumstances.

Pokharel said that every police officer should serve with the intention of not hurting the feelings of the citizens.

Pokharel instructed the subordinate police to be committed to become a good policeman from the bottom of their hearts without being under any pressure or influence.

Reminding that the responsibility of the police has been added in the situation where the infection of Covid-19 is increasing, Pokharel said that the police could not escape from the security of the citizens even in case of a critical situation.

On the occasion, Chief of Metropolitan Traffic Police Division, Senior Superintendent of Police Bhim Prasad Dhakal said that they are committed to improve traffic management in the Valley by removing the necessary weaknesses.

The joint mess of the police officer and the jawan has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.4 million. Similarly, the work on the management of records of lost, found and stolen vehicles has started and the citizens can apply online for the search of such vehicles, said the department.
