Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the trend of dragging each other's feet has hampered the development of the country.
In a meeting with officials of Media Alliance Nepal, a new organization of media entrepreneurs formed in Baluwatar on Wednesday with the objective of protecting the rights and interests of media entrepreneurs, Prime Minister Oli said that country was moving towards development but the tendency to draging each other's feet had hampered country's development.
Prime Minister Oli said that media should work to spread knowledge among the people, adding that the media can only provide information and inspiration for the development of the country.
Prime Minister Oli said that no one could move forward by trying to create animosity between two countries. Prime Minister Oli said that there was an attempt to stop the promulgation of new constitution by inciting ethnic conflict.
Prime Minister Oli clarified that constitution can be amended as per the needs of the country and people. Prime Minister Oli also said that some media outlets were trying to assassinate the character.
Prime Minister Oli said that Advertising Board would be formed soon and informed that government was preparing to implement Clean Feed from November 22 onwards.
