Xiaomi has announced its first smartwatch in the country - the Mi Watch Revolve. The new smartwatch was unveiled today at Xiaomi's Smart Living 2021 event that was streamed online.
The Mi Watch Revolve comes with an AMOLED display which comes with capacitative touch screen support. The smartwatch comes in two colours - Midnight Black and Chrome Silver. There are also five band options that you can choose from including one leather one.
The Mi Watch Revolve comes with a stainless steel casing and a large 46mm dial. The dial has 450 nits brightness that's as much as some of the smartphones. The Mi Watch Revolve comes with auto-brightness adjustment support and a smart always-on display and Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.
The Mi Watch Revolve is launching with 112 watch faces and the company is adding a whole bunch of India-specific watch faces soon. Mi fans have also been encouraged to design watch faces which might even be incorporated into the fold if the company likes them.
On the fitness front, the Mi Watch Revolve comes with Firstbeat algorithm that helps in improved fitness tracking that covers heartbeat tracking, heartbeat variability tracking, sleep tracking, stress level, energy level, sleep quality and VO2 Max tracking. There are also 10 specialised sports modes.
The smartwatch comes with GPS and Glonass support so you can leave your watch at home when you go running. And you can take this watch for a swim too.
Of course, the Mi Watch Revolve covers all other functions of a smartwatch like call and message notifications.
All controls for the Mi Watch Revolve can be controlled with the Xiaomi Wear App that's available on the Play Store and the Apple App Store.
The Mi Watch Revolve with its 420mAh battery can last you for two weeks on light usage and for about a week on light usage on a single charge.
