MCC has opposed the US aid project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) as it prepares to pass the agreement.
On Sunday, Central Committee of District People's Republican Contact Forum protested against MCC saying that it was against the interest of the country.
Members of committee who had gathered at Maitighar Mandala had said that the agitation was necessary as the MCC was not acceptable to Nepali people. Protesters chanted slogans calling for the repeal of the treasonous MCC agreement.
Protestors said that the protest was against the nationality and national self-esteem of the country.
