Discussion on cabinet reshuffle begins

Discussions have started within Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) on the issue of cabinet reshuffle.

CPN (Maoist) spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed that the issue of cabinet reshuffle was discussed from different angles at a meeting of the CPN (Maoist) Secretariat held at the CPN (Maoist) office in Parisdanda on Sunday.

Spokesperson Shrestha said that meeting discussed the reorganization of the Council of Ministers, the basis of constitutional appointment, finalization of the remaining organizational unity and various agendas.

Spokesperson Shrestha said that a meeting of the secretariat was held to implement the decision of the standing committee.

Spokesperson Shrestha also mentioned that there was no discussion in the secretariat meeting about Vice President Bamdev Gautam and himself becoming a minister.

Spokesperson Shrestha informed that there is an agenda for further discussion on the reorganization of the Council of Ministers in Monday's meeting.

A meeting of CPN (Maoist) Secretariat has been convened at 1 pm on Monday.
