Rato Machhindranath's chariot has been taken to Bungamati by playing traditional musical instruments.
Due to the corona infection this year, Machhindranath's chariot was taken to Bungamati from Patan on Monday evening without the display of ‘Bhoto’.
Chairman of the Jyapu Samaj Chandra Maharjan informed that Rato Machhendranath was taken to Bungmati on an auspicious occasion.
Maharjan said that Rato Machhendranath, whose ‘Chhyama Puja’ was performed on Bhadra 19, will be purified on Tuesday and will be worshiped regularly from Wednesday.
Tensions were high in the Pulchowk area when Rato Machhindranath's chariot was spontaneously pulled on Bhadra 19.
The clash took place when a group of local youths forcibly started a ‘rath yatra’.
