Tallawahs lose the game despite Sandeep’s economic bowling

 

In the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Sandeep Lamichhane took two wickets while bowling economically but his team lost to Jamaica's Talwaj.

Chasing the 119-run target set by the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Talwaj lost seven wickets for 104 runs. Andre Russell scored 52 runs but could not give the victory.

Sandeep, who got a chance to bat, was 'duck out'. Imran Tahir, trapped him lbw after he played 3 balls.

Earlier, Tallawahs had bowled hard. Sandeep took 2 wickets for 8 runs in 4 overs. He took the wickets of Serfan Ruthfodai and captain Chris Green.

Sandeep bowled Captain Green. Apart from that, Mujib Ur Rehman and Carlos Brathwaite took 3/3 wickets each. Brandon King was the top scorer for the Warriors with 29 runs.
