The Ministry of Home Affairs has given the responsibility of the new spokesperson of the Ministry to Senior Joint Secretary Chakra Bahadur Buda.
The Home Ministry has appointed Buda as the head of the peacekeeping division and spokesperson of the ministry. Generally, it has been the practice to give the responsibility of spokesperson to the joint secretary who looks after the peace and security division.
Earlier, Buda was the head of the policy and planning division of the ministry.
A few days before the spokesperson of the ministry Kedar Nath Sharma was transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Gandaki Pradesh, the Home Spokesperson and the Peace and Security Division had been vacant.
