Two people have died and 18 disappeared due to landslides after continuous heavy rain at Jambu, in Bahrabise municipality.
According to the head of Bahrabise Municipality, Nimfunjo Sherpa, floods in Khagdal and Aandhikhola rivers have swept away a bridge in Khagdal river and road sections in many other places causing a disruption of road transportation.
District Police Office head Prajjwol Maharjan informed that he police, armed police and army were having difficulty in reaching those places due to bad road conditions. Hence, more details are yet to come.
