Policy to end Asare development forever

Members of the National Assembly have demanded that a policy be formulated and implemented to end Asare development forever.

During the zero hour meeting of the National Assembly on Thursday, Shanti Kumari Adhikari of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) said that the work done in the rainy season would be destroyed without development and stressed on the need to end the Asare development forever.

Adhakari said that the work in the office would be delayed due to lack of staff as the budget would be passed within the month of July after the budget is made public on June 30 and people would be on alternate leave in July and August.

Adhakari said that the development work would be completed in a hurry only in the last month of the fiscal year and the budget would be completed amicably.

MP Ram Narayan Bindari opined that a policy should be formulated and implemented in the transport sector by making provision for 10 percent refinancing and VAT exemption on transportation and only TDS.

Sher Bahadur Kunwar of the CPN (Maoist) said that the pandemic of Covid-19 was on the rise due to the chaos in the quarantine. MP Dr. Vimala Poudel said that the health workers who were working at the risk of their lives during the pandemic of Covid-19 were beaten and demanded their protection.
