The Sripati Koirala Trust, Pokhara on Tuesday announced that it was awarding this year’s ‘Sripati Social Service Prize -2077 BS’ to Maiti Nepal.
Maiti Nepal has been working in the field of rescuing and rehabilitating women who have been the victims of trafficking, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
The award which includes Nrs 222,222 will be awarded during the Trust’s meeting. The award, named after late social worker Sripati Koirala will be presented during the annual general meeting of the Trust.
