The Ministry of Tourism has honored the writers who have contributed to Nepali literature with various national and provincial awards.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation organized an award presentation function on Monday to honor various dignitaries. Minister for Tourism Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai presented awards to the dignitaries and personalities.
Pushpalal National Award 2076, Mahakavi Devkota National Award 2076, Bhagat Sarvajit Manav Maryada National Award 2076, Gopal Prasad Rimal National Award 2076 have honored various personalities.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Bhattarai said that the award was given to various personalities. Minister Bhattarai also said that a national museum would be set up in Kirtipur, Kathmandu to bring together caste, culture, customs and language and literature.
The amount of all the awards is Rs. 100,000 from the national and institutional side and Rs. 50,000 from the provincial side, according to the ministry.
