Flower planting by traffic police

Metropolitan Traffic Police has started the work of planting flower plants at various intersections in Kathmandu.

The branch has started flower planting from three corners of Kathmandu on Sunday. Chief of the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Ranipokhari, Deputy Inspector General of Police Bishwaraj Pokharel and Chief of the Metropolitan Traffic Police Bhim Prasad Dhakal planted flowers.

Traffic police from all 45 units across the Kathmandu Valley participated in the program. Chief of the Division Dhakal informed that flowers would be planted in the vacant spaces at Chowks in Kathmandu.

Chief of the Division Dhakal also informed that the protection of the flowering plants will be done by the person planting them. In Tinkune, 350 different species of flowers were planted.
