Dr. Basudev Pandey, Director, Epidemiology and Disease Control Division, said that the collection of samples has been expedited after the spread of corona virus at the community level in Kathmandu.
Dr. Basudev Pandey told in a press conference at the Ministry of Health on Sunday that the spread of corona virus at the community level in Kathmandu was yet to be confirmed as not all the samples had been collected.
Pandey said that samples were collected from 12 places as the rate of corona infection was declining and increasing in the Kathmandu Valley. So far, a sample of 3,000 people has been tested and only three have been found to be infected.
Dr. Pandey said that only 0.3 percent of those infected with corona in Nepal have symptoms.
