The Khagendra Navjivan Kendra of the Nepal Handicapped Association in Jorpati has been re-locked saying that the management has committed financial irregularities.
The Nepal Disabled Association, Struggle Committee locked the budget on Friday saying that the budget management for education, health and skill-based training of persons with disabilities was spent for their families.
Earlier, the lock was opened after the Gokarneshwar Municipality assured to investigate the alleged irregularities at the center. However, the person involved in the irregularities was included in the investigation committee, said Ram Prasad Koirala, coordinator of the struggle committee.
The struggle committee has been alleging that the management led by the outgoing chairman Mohan Maharjan sold five acres of land in the name of the association without informing anyone.
