Police have intervened in the peaceful protest of youths against the government in Kathmandu Naxal.

Demonstrators gathered at Naxal Bhatbhateni on Thursday to protest against the failure of PCR testing, complete cessation of RDT tests, non-disclosure of details of money spent on corona control and the government's failure to do enough to combat the pandemic.

Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. After taking them near the police headquarters, the police charged them with batons and fired four or five rounds of tear gas.
