Five people killed in Tilotta Kanchi Bazaar of Rupandehi

According to the Area Police Office, Mangalapur, the workers of the local Krishna Pun's buffalo farm were killed. The locals had informed the police after seeing the bodies of five people killed and covered by bed-sheet.

The deceased have been identified as Madhav Musahar, Janaki Musahar, Pokhraj Musahar, Karan Chaudhary and Ashish Chaudhary.

Similarly, police have arrested a man on suspicion of being involved in the incident, said DSP Khadak Bahadur Khatri of District Police Office, Rupandehi. It is understood that he admitted the incident as he was arrested.

The incident took place at night and the locals found out about it in the morning and informed the police, said a local.

An investigation team has been formed under the leadership of SSP Raj Kumar Vaidawar to investigate the incident, said State Police Chief Rabindra Dhanuk.
