The Bharatpur Municipal Corporation of Chitwan has allocated Rs. 4.15 billion for the fiscal year 2077/78. The budget has been presented in the sixth municipal council of the metropolis held on Wednesday.
In which Rs.480 million is for current expenditure. Presenting the budget, Metropolitan Deputy Chief Parvati Shah Thakuri said that Rs.60 crore, internal revenue Rs.900 million, Rs. 1.69 billion from intergovernmental financial transfers.
She said that it was 461.21 million. It is mentioned in the budget that the policy and program will support the development of the nation by developing economic, physical, social and environmental infrastructure and making it a prosperous and strong metropolis.
The budget has given priority to 11 sectors for the coming fiscal year. Presenting the policy and program of the metropolis, metropolitan chief Renu Dahal said that the world is facing the crisis brought by the corona virus at this time, adding that the country and the metropolis are also struggling with the disaster. So far, there are 14 acts in the metropolis.
