Stressing on bringing full budget, Finance Minister Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada
Finance Minister Dr.Yuvaraj Khatiwada has said that he will bring a full budget to make the slogan of economic prosperity a success.
Replying to a question raised in the House of Representatives on Wednesday on the principles and priorities of the budget, Minister Khatiwada said that a full budget was needed now to make the government's slogan of economic prosperity a success.
He said the government has focused on economic recovery and will prioritize it during budget formulation.
He said that the role of the government should be increased to strengthen basic health care and education up to secondary level.
Khatiwada said that international bodies have also agreed on Nepal's high economic growth rate till last January.
He said the government would allocate adequate budget for the security personnel to be deployed in the border areas.
In the meeting, Speaker Agni Sapkota informed that President Bidyadevi Bhandari would present the policy and program in the joint sitting of both the Houses of the Federal Parliament on Friday, May 20 at 4 o'clock.
