Clashes between Chinese citizens and police
A clash has broken out between Chinese citizens and police in front of the main gate of Singha Durbar demanding their return home.
Seven persons including a DSP have been injured in the clash. The clashes erupted on Friday afternoon when Chinese nationals came to the restricted area with a procession.
Some Chinese have been injured by the police baton charge. Similarly, four policemen including DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet were injured in the attack.
Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.
More than 20 of them, carrying a play card with the words 'We want to go back home', staged a sit-in in front of the Singha Durbar Gate.
