Ministry of Health Press Meet
The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that no new patients were recorded by 4pm, Thursday.
Tests conducted in labs on thursday found no new patients according to the ministry. Tests of 14,509 people have been conducted throughout the country using the PCR method so far.
Spokesperson for the ministry Dr. Bikash Devkota informed that 17372 people were placed in quarantine whereas 172 were placed in isolation.
Nepal America Medical Foundation has donated a sum of Nrs.6825200 to Institute of Rapti Medical Science.
The spokesperson said that the amount was provided for im[rovements of the ICU Wards of the hospital.
As of Thursday,out of the total 99 infected, 22 have recovered and have been discharged.
However, 3 people who were discharged on Baisakh 11 and 14 have been re-admitted after being found to have been infected again.
