Netra Bikram Chand Biplav-led CPN (Maoist) Secretariat member Dharmendra Bastola has clarified that his party's agenda is to hold a referendum on the main issues to solve country's problems.
Speaking in an exclusive interview organized by Reporters Club Nepal, Bastola said that a referendum should be held as a full democratic process and democratic process is needed.
Bastola also said that his party's views on the issue would be made public soon as they were committed to making country prosperous. Bastola said that current parliamentary political system will not give a way out to country.
Bastola said that the condition of poor Nepali people is still the same as before. According to Bastola, they have already conducted a political analysis that country is heading towards instability and now it has been confirmed.
Bastola urged people not to doubt the implementation of three-point agreement reached between them and government.
