Nepal Police Club has bagged second victory in the ongoing Mayors Cup One-Day Men's Cricket Tournament in the capital.
Police defeated Tribhuvan Army Club by 3 wickets in the second match on Tuesday. Police completed the target of 88 runs set by Army at Mulpani Cricket Ground by losing 7 wickets in 18 overs.
Army, who had won the toss and elected to bat first, were all out for 87 in 30 overs. Police has added 4 points in 3 games along with the victory. This is the second defeat of army. Army has added 2 points in 3 games.
Similarly, Bagmati Pradesh has bagged its first victory in another match played on Tuesday.
Bagmati defeated APF Club by 27 runs in the first match. Chasing the target of 234 runs given by Bagmati at TU Cricket Ground, APF managed to score 206 runs in 44 overs with 5 balls to spare.
Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Bagmati lost 6 wickets in 50 overs and scored 233 runs. With the victory, Bagmati has added 2 points in 3 games. This is the first defeat of APF. APF has added 4 points in 3 games.
