Leaders have said that discussion is focused on how to remove KP Sharma Oli from the post of Prime Minister. JSP Chairman Mahanta Thakur said that the formation of government and their demands were discussed.

He said that they had raised the issue of Resham Chaudhary and amendment of the constitution and if they supported it, they could cooperate with Maoists.

Similarly, Maoist leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha said that talks were held with the party on the agenda of forming a coalition government against KP Oli.

Maoist leader Shrestha also said that there was talk of dismissing the case of Resham Chaudhary and amending the constitution.

Maoist leader Shrestha said that continuous discussions would be held with his party and other parties to make the talks meaningful.

Discussions between two parties are said to be focused on forming a joint government and addressing issues raised by the party.

Maoist leaders had said that if the three parties formed an alliance, it would be easier to meet the demands raised by Jaspa. Jaspa had earlier held discussions with Congress and UML. Jaspa has played a decisive role in the formation of government.
