Despite corona virus epidemic, China's exports have risen the most in two decades, according to Chinese government officials. At the same time, China's imports of goods and services have increased.
Exports of readymade garments such as electronics and masks have increased significantly. Exports increased by 60.6 percent during January-February period compared to a year ago, while imports increased by 22.2 percent.
According to data, exports fell by 17 percent and imports by 4 percent last year.
According to Chinese Customs Administration, exports of electronics increased by 54.1 percent and exports of textiles by 50.2 percent.
China's total trade surplus is133.3 billion, according to the customs administration. Trade surpluses with the United States also doubled to 51.3 billion last year.
