Shree Kumari Club has won its last league match of Martyrs' Memorial B Division Football League in the capital.
In Tuesday's match, Mr. Kumari defeated Tusal Club by 40 goals. Ashish Rai scored two goals to give victory to Mr. Kumari in ANFA Complex Satdobato.
Similarly, Santosh Kumar Singh and Vivek Pun scored one goal each. Santosh scored in the 11th minute of the game to give Shree Kumari a 1-0 lead.
Vivek scored in the 24th minute to give Shree Kumari a 2-0 lead. Ashish scored in the injury time of the first half to give team a 3-0 lead. Then in the 67th minute of the match, Ashish scored his second individual goal to give Shree Kumari a 4-0 victory.
Similarly, Shree Bhagwati defeated Boys Union Club 2-1 in a match played on Tuesday. Nawaraj Gurung and Prajwal Thapa Magar scored one goal each to give victory to Shree Bhagwati at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.
Boys' Tank Bahadur Syangtan returned a goal. With the victory, Shree Bhagwati has risen to the fifth position. Shree Bhagwati has added 15 points in 11 games. Boys are in fourth place with 17 points from 11 games.
