Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has been unsold in the action of Indian Premier League 9 IPL 2021.
Minimum price of Sandeep in auction held in Chennai was 4 million Indian rupees. But neither team showed interest in buying Sandeep.
Sandeep can come back to action if any team requests at the last minute. Unsold players are more likely to play at a lower price if they are sold at the last minute.
Sandeep made his IPL debut in 2018 from Delhi. Sandeep was contracted for a minimum price of Rs 3.2 million. Last season, Delhi had Sandeep on the full bench.
Sandeep had joined the action after Delhi was blown up. Sandeep had taken 13 wickets in 9 games in three seasons from Delhi.
Although he sat on the bench full time in 2020, he took 5 wickets in 3 games in 2018 and 8 wickets in 6 games in 2019.
