Today the cremation of Kyabjé Thubten Palzang Rinpoche took place in Tibet. Master Kyabjé Thubten Palzang Rinpoche had passed into parinirvana on January 10, 2021.
He is the sublime teacher of the Ngagyur Nyingma tradition. He is the root guru of many with kindness. He has dissolved the display of his enlightened body into inner space.
This undoubtedly is a huge loss for the general Buddhist tradition and the Nyingma lineage in particular.
As per guidance given by Kyabje Sangye Tsering Rinpoche cremation ritual was carried on. After Rinpoche awakened from his thukdam (meditative state), his kudung (precious holy body) was taken to Palyul Monastery.
There grand prayer offering ceremonies was carried out according to tradition. The cremation ceremony was conducted on the morning of February 3, 2021. His untimely passing has left all his disciples in grief.
Lama Chodpa, Vajrasattva Practice of Minling tradition, Drimed Shak Gyud and Recitation of 100 syllable mantra was recommended for recitation to those with karmic connection with Rinpoche.

The supreme heads of Namdroling Monastery directed to conduct the certain pujas and prayers by the entire sangha of Namdroling Monastery until the mahaparinirvana ceremony is complete.
