Preparation for SEE exam in the third week of June

National Examination Board (NEB) has started internal preparations to take Secondary Education Examination (SEE) of Class 10 and final annual examination of Class 12 with a gap of one year.

Board has started preparations to take final examination of SEE and class 12 in last week of Jestha, 2078 BS.

Prada Chandramani Poudel, vice-chairperson of board, said that internal preparations are being made for the examination and informed that a formal decision will be taken on the schedule of formal examination within the month. Currently, board is working in different stages for the examination of both levels.

If this preparation of board is implemented, loss in the academic session of students will be only on average for two to three months. Last year, SEE was conducted in Chaitra and Class 12 in Baisakh.

Deadline for students across the country to fill up the registration form for SEE is March 20. Board has informed that work of archiving students is being done in districts at present.

It is estimated that it will take up to four days to verify details of all students. Only then will number of students giving SEE next year be known.

This time, number of students due to corona virus infection may be reduced, but it has not been decided yet. Government has already decided to facilitate transfer to class 10, targeting students who have left one school for another.
