Students close to CPN-Prachanda-Nepal faction have surrounded the central office of Nepal Oil Corporation in protest of price hike in petroleum products.
On Thursday, CPN-UML's organization ANNFSU surrounded the central office of corporation at Babar Mahal.
Protesters chanted slogans demanding immediate reversal of hike in petroleum prices.
Students have been protesting against the increase in the price of petroleum products twice a week. Protestors also displayed placards saying "control the rising prices".
Government had increased the price of petrol by Rs 2 per liter with effect from Tuesday night.
