On the publication of a book titled "Buddha's Immortal Words and Buddhist Traditions" a discussion program was held in Makalbari.
"Interaction Program of the Buddhist Scholars-2077" was presided by scholarly chief guests who were trained academically and monastically.
The book Buddha's Immortal Words and Buddhist Traditions is written to clarify the misconceptions about Lord Buddha, Buddhism and the Buddha's birthplace.
Interaction and discussion program was held before the final publication of the book by Dungjin Lopon Rinpoche.
The Central President of the Shyamarang Association, His Excellence Lodro Rabsel Rinpoche, inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp from his hand.
Sangbo Yolmopa interacted with the book in the presence of more than two dozen Buddhist scholars and religious leaders .
Lopon Rinpoche has been conducting interaction and discussion programs at various stages to get feedback on what is appropriate to cover before publishing the book and if there are any issues that need to be edited in the book currently being prepared for publication.
The interaction program was held at Hyolmo Karma Kungawa Chuklakhang (Hyolmo Gonpa) in Makalbari, Kathmandu under the chairmanship of Reverend Dunjin Lopen Rinpoche, the author of the book.
The book will be released in New York, USA in a short time and distributed to Nepalis around the world.
This book is dedicated to all those Nepali staying abroad who claim themselves as people from the birthplace of Buddha, however lack basic knowledge on Buddhism.
Special guests on the occasion were former Chairman of the Government of Nepal's Baudha Darshan, Promotion and Gumba Development Committee, Venerable Khen Rinpache Nyima Dorje Hyolmopa, Historian and Sanskrit Scholar and Buddhist Scholar Prof. Ramesh Kumar Dhungel, Buddhist scholar and translator Punya Prasad Parajuli, Buddhist Translator Tika Sherpa. They gave best wishes on the occasion of publication of a new book.
